1,100 lighted, carved Pumpkins

PumpkinFest Tower

Based on Keene, NH’s world record Pumpkin Festival, Harrisburg’s PumpkinFest 2006 featured a 30’ tower from HARSCO PATENT, filled with more than 1,100 carved pumpkins from PennAg Industries.


The Pumpkins were carved by more than 300 people, with more than two dozen companies, organizations and schools participating.

Twenty children competed in a Halloween Costume contest, followed by a free outdoor showing of Disney’s Monster, Inc. with projection services by ZeroGravity.
